Over his 35-year career in the pharmaceutical and medical devices industry, Jaap has acquired a vast experience in the regulatory and clinical areas, mostly in Europe and the US. Jaap is a standing member of the MDCG Working Group for Classification and has been teaching international regulatory affairs at the University of Southern California (USC) in Los Angeles since 2006.
